Kevin McHale of the Boston Celtics left New England Baptist Hospital after undergoing surgery on his right foot and ankle. He will wear a cast for at least eight weeks.
Meanwhile, Celtic General Manager Jan Volk said that center Bill Walton may also have surgery later that would sideline him all next season. Walton also has a broken bone in his foot.
