The buyer is a company formed by a group of private investors. Terms were not disclosed . . . Stockholders of Allied Supermarkets of Detroit and Vons Cos. of El Monte will vote separately July 21 on a proposed merger that would transform Vons into a publicly traded company and allow the sale of Allied stores to a company owned by its management . . .
