3 Mexico City Officers Arrested for Shakedown

MEXICO CITY —
Three Mexico City judiciary police agents were arrested on charges of trying to shake down street vendors in the downtown district, the government newspaper El Nacional reported Wednesday.
The newspaper said the federal district attorney general’s office filed the charges against the three men after a group of about 40 street vendors filed a formal complaint accusing them of selling “protection.”
