Richard Jahnke, the youth convicted of killing his abusive father in a trial that focused nationwide attention on the problems of child abuse, has turned 21 and is now is free of supervision by the State of Wyoming. Jahnke is attending college under an assumed name, his lawyer, James Barrett, said Saturday. “He’s doing really well. “He’s in a whole different location and is glad it’s all behind him.”
