Reagan July 4 Message Recalls Past Sacrifices

WASHINGTON —
President Reagan issued his Fourth of July message Monday, urging Americans to be mindful of the sacrifices made to win and preserve the nation’s independence.
“On this Independence Day, let us recall our founders’ pledge to make any sacrifice as they fought for liberty and freedom,” Reagan said in the message.
