“Hannah and Her Sisters” and “Little Shop of Horrors” debuted impressively on the Billboard magazine rental chart--”Hannah” at No. 9 and “Shop” at No. 10. Both are likely candidates for the No. 1 position that “The Color of Money” has been clinging to in recent weeks. “Children of a Lesser God” (No. 2) might have been the No. 1 rental weeks ago against lesser competition but it’s shaping up as a perennial also-ran. The strong showing by “The Morning After” (No. 3), the thriller starring Jane Fonda, was expected, but the rapid rise of the offbeat Harrison Ford film “The Mosquito Coast” (No. 4) wasn’t. “Top Gun” continues as the leader on the general sales chart. On the kidvid chart, “Here’s Mickey!” bounced longtime-leader “Sleeping Beauty” out of the top spot. Remarkably, the first 19 positions on the chart are held by Disney titles.
