AND NOW HERE’S THE NEWS: How’s this for a fight--Hector (Macho) Camacho vs. Ray (Boom Boom) Mancini? Don’t get too excited--Mancini isn’t coming out of retirement for one last bout. But both ex-champion lightweights will be in the video ring as guest stars in the Fat Boys new video of “Wipeout,” a song from the FB’s new album (which also can be heard in the upcoming Warners film, “Disorderlies.” . . . I.R.S. Records has signed Tom Verlaine, one of the founders of the seminal new-wave band Television. His new album, “Flash Light,” which offers such tunes as “Have Mercy Judge” and “A Town Called Walker,” will hit the stores July 27. . . . Ex-Culture Club member Roy Hay has a new band called This Way Up, which just hit the British charts with a new single, “Tell Me Why.” . . . And if you’re a fan of the late Steve Goodman, watch for “Unfinished Business,” a collection of largely unreleased Goodman gems due out this week from the Red Pajamas label. The package features such songs as “Whispering Man,” “Mind Over Matter,” “God Bless Our Mobile Home” (with Jethro Burns), “Don’t Get Sand in It” and a solo rendition of “My Funny Valentine.”
