Meanwhile, from the P. T. Barnum file, USA Today reported Monday that Jim and Tammy Bakker’s air-conditioned doghouse drew about 5,000 visitors at a fair in Mansfield Township, N.J., over the weekend. The area’s Tri-County Fire Co. rented the notorious doggy abode from George Campbell of Holidaysville, Pa., who bought it when many of the Bakkers’ furnishings were sold at auction. The price of admission? Fifty cents a visit, per person. It should also be noted that it was in the humid 90s in New Jersey over the weekend.
