American Tonie Campbell suffered his first 110-meter hurdles defeat of the 1987 Mobil Grand Prix season Monday, finishing third behind American Greg Foster and Canadian Mark McKoy in a meet in Budapest, Hungary.

Foster won in a photo finish in 13.23 seconds. McKoy also was clocked in 13.23, with Campbell timed in 13.28.

European champion Linford Christie of Britain sprinted 100 meters in 10.03 seconds, the year’s best European time for the event. Raymond Stewart of Jamaica was second in 10.14, edging Lee McRae of the United States, who also clocked 10.14.

Jamaica’s Marlene Ottey-Page won the women’s 100 meters, covering the distance in 10.92.
