John A. McLuckey, a 28-year veteran of Rockwell International Corp., has been named president of Rockwell’s recently created Autonetics Electronics Systems organization in Anaheim.

McLuckey, who was president of one of three divisions that were grouped together in the new Anaheim organization, will oversee 9,500 employees involved in the design and manufacture of electronics components for missiles, submarines, aircraft and weapons systems.

The three divisions under McLuckey’s supervision are ICBM Systems, Marine Systems, and Sensors and Aircraft Systems. Rockwell International, which is based in Pittsburgh, is the nation’s 24th-largest industrial company, with more than $12 billion in annual sales.
