Irvine : Man Found Fatally Shot in Shopping Center Lot
The Police Department Saturday was investigating the case of a man found fatally wounded in a parking lot at 10:30 p.m. Friday.
The man, whose name and age were not released, was alive when a passer-by found him in the rear parking lot of the Northwood Shopping Center on Irvine Boulevard at Yale Avenue, police said. But he died at the Western Medical Center in Santa Ana shortly after midnight.
Sgt. Scott Cade said the man had been shot several times. No one has been arrested, Cade said.
