Lt. Col. Oliver North: Patriotic Hero or Misguided Zealot?
With much justification, most Americans have great fear of communism. Due to this fear North and others are doing more harm to our country than communism ever could.
In the heat of their patriotic sounding words we are forgetting our greatest heritage--that we are a country based on rule by law and principle. What a mess would result if persons with governmental positions took actions based not on law but on their own opinion.
North may well be a patriotic American, but he is no hero. He is a misguided zealot.
