A passenger on a Delta Air Lines flight that plunged toward the ocean off Los Angeles last month after the plane’s engines were mistakenly shut down filed a $4-million lawsuit against the airline. Catherine Demars’ suit charges the airline with negligence, saying Delta had reckless disregard for safe aircraft design and crew training. The suit, filed in federal court in Miami, also charges that Demars suffered physical and emotional injuries. And in the latest in a series of mishaps plagui1852252276tires after landing in Atlanta. No one was injured.
