Listeners of a popular Israeli news show Tuesday were greeted by the husky voice of Tina Turner wishing them good morning in Hebrew. Turner arrived in Israel this week with an entourage of about 40 people for two outdoor concerts in a Tel Aviv park. About 40,000 fans are expected to attend. The 48-year-old singer has refused to grant interviews to most of the local press, a spokesman at Tel Aviv’s Hilton hotel said, but added that she did agree to give the greeting on the army radio show.
