A construction worker was electrocuted in Rowland Heights and another was buried alive in Hacienda Heights in two separate on-the-job accidents, authorities said Friday.

A 26-year-old man, whose name was withheld pending notification of relatives, was installing temporary wiring at a home construction site at 20841 Boulder St. at 9:50 a.m. when he was accidentally electrocuted, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Gary Spallino said.

Attempts to revive him at Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina failed, Spallino said.
