Businessland’s income climbed 38%to $2.5 million in the fourth quarter and rose 75% to $8.4 million for fiscal year ended June 30. The earnings increase is attributable to both sales growth and improved gross margin, as well as a decrease in expenses, the San Jose-based computer retail chain said.
