53 Treated After Chlorine Leaks From Indiana Plant

KOKOMO, Ind. —
A chlorine leak in a waste-water treatment plant forced the evacuation of two neighborhoods and sent 53 people to the hospital Friday, authorities said. The injured suffered symptoms ranging from burning eyes and skin to shortness of breath, hospital officials said. The cause of the leak was under investigation.
