Rancho P. V. : Forum on Marineland Site
The buyer of the former Marineland site will hold a public meeting tonight to discuss plans to develop the oceanfront property and answer questions.
Representatives of the Monaghan Co. will begin the forum at 7:30 at Ridgecrest Intermediate School, 28915 Northbay Road. “This is our attempt to have some dialogue with people who want to talk about the project,” said Harrison Price, a land use consultant who was hired by Monaghan to oversee development of the 108-acre site.
The company has announced tentative plans to construct a 500-room resort hotel, a conference center, a sports club and homes on the land.
