Taylor also faces a probation violation hearing Aug. 25 stemming from his conviction in November, 1982, for sodomizing a young boy who, the district attorney’s office charges, Taylor recruited to assist him with his delivery duties. In that case, Taylor received an eight-year suspended prison sentence and was placed on probation for five years.

Taylor has been held without bail since his arrest July 25 after the parents of an alleged victim notified police, authorities said.
