Judge Bork on Civil Rights

Share

The Conrad cartoon of July 27 attacking Bork offended me at first, because I thought it was vicious to say that Bork’s ideas were from the 1890s. Then I realized that that is exactly what we need--a return, in a legal sense, to an America where God not only existed in our schools, but was welcomed and revered, where victims of crime had rights, human life was considered sacred and murderers were put to death instead of unborn children.

We have been led down a garden path by many wily legal minds and so-called “behavioral experts,” and if Bork takes us back a few steps to a system of justice (not technicalities and legalism) that can be respected again, I say God bless him!
