DEP Corp. has further reduced the bank debt incurred from the acquisition of Jeffrey Martin Inc. through the sales of additional product brands totaling $1.9 million. Compoz Nighttime Sleep Aid was sold for $1.3 million and international trademark rights for Doan’s Backache Pills were sold for $600,000. Also, a letter of intent has been received for the purchase of Bantron Smoking Deterrent for $1 million. Los Angeles-based DEP is retaining four product lines included in the acquisition: Lavoris Mouthwash, Topol Toothpaste, Cuticura Medicated Soap and Porcelana Fade Cream.
