Former Cincinnati Bengals fullback Pete Johnson was indicted by a federal grand jury in Columbus, Ohio, on four counts related to a six-month investigation into cocaine trafficking, the U.S. Attorney’s office said.
Johnson was charged with one count of conspiracy involving distribution of cocaine, two counts of distribution of 16 ounces of cocaine and one count of traveling in interstate commerce in furtherance of cocaine distribution, the indictment said. All of the counts allegedly occured between Feb. 18 and Feb. 26.
If convicted of all four counts, Johnson would face up to 65 years imprisonment and $3 million in fines.
