MacLaren Center Paint-In Starts Today

MacLaren Children’s Center, Los Angeles County’s short-term facility for abused and neglected children, is receiving a face lift today, thanks to several organizations and more than 100 volunteers.
Southern and California Paint and Coatings Assn., an organization of paint manufacturers and suppliers, has donated 3,600 gallons of paint under the National Paint and Coatings Assn.’s “Picture It Painted” program, which has sponsored similar projects across the country.
The project will begin today and be completed on Aug. 29.
