Carson : Hiring of Consultant OKd

The City Council has approved the hiring of a full-time economic development consultant for $50,000 a year.
The chief task of the consultant, who has not been chosen yet, will be to develop a coherent development plan for the entire city, which is attempting to generate development in blighted areas and accelerate renewal in areas experiencing moderate growth.
