Burbank and Glendale police Wednesday seized more than five gallons of the hallucinogen PCP, with an estimated street value of $380,000, from an illicit drug laboratory hidden in the garage attic of a Burbank home, authorities reported.

Glendale police said an investigation of a separate fraud case in Montrose led them to the lab at in the 100 block of South Brighton Street.

David Vernon Horner, 27, who lived at the house, and Linda Sue Redenbaugh, 24, of Woodland Hills were arrested Wednesday night. They are being held in lieu of $75,000 bail in Glendale City Jail, charged with operating a clandestine drug laboratory.

Besides the PCP (phencyclidine hydrochloride), police said, they discovered one ounce of methamphetamine, assorted chemicals for drug manufacturing, glassware and other items for chemical processing of drugs, and recipes for drug and explosives manufacture.

A private hazardous-waste removal service was called to dismantle the laboratory and remove the chemicals, officials said.
