Police Riot Drill Too Realistic--20 Injured

MANCHESTER, England —
An exercise designed to train police in riot control techniques turned out to be a little too realistic in this northern English city--20 officers ended up in the hospital with sprains, cuts and bruises.
The officers took turns acting as rioters and injured 20 when they hurled hard objects.
