I must agree with (state Assembly Speaker) Willie Brown (D-San Francisco) that Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley has the ear of office holders in Sacramento and elsewhere in the nation on matters of mutual concern (Letters, Aug. 6). Also that “we” (politicians) respond to his needs and concerns, as he does “ours” (politicians).

Now if either or both of them responded to the people’s needs and concerns, WOW!
