Beirut Radio on Air Again

BEIRUT —
Beirut Radio resumed broadcasts today after a 10-day closure prompted by a summer heat wave. The state-owned radio in Muslim West Beirut shut down on Aug. 14 when staff members complained of torrid heat, fainting fits and rotting electrical cables.
