A two-night sweep conducted by the Los Angeles Police Department’s task force against drunk drivers resulted in the arrests of 63 drivers suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. City Councilman Robert Farrell had asked the task force to patrol the streets around the Crenshaw Revitalization District near Crenshaw and Martin Luther King Jr. boulevards, Sgt. Mike Pattee said. Officers arrested 30 suspected drunk drivers Friday night and another 33 suspects Saturday night.
