Sniper Fires at Subway Train; Passenger Hurt

NEW YORK — A sniper fired 14 shots at a subway train that was running on an elevated track in Brooklyn today, wounding one man in the eye, police said.
The passenger, Horace Wells, 35, was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was in stable condition and was prepared for exploratory surgery, hospital spokesman Robert Frazier said.
