Fans: Commissioners at Fault for L.A.’s Loss and Irwindale’s Gain
It is utterly disgusting to think that our impotent city government has allowed the best organization in professional football to get away.
We had the opportunity to make the most prestigious stadium in the country, the Coliseum, even more renowned. We had the opportunity to continue the ever-increasing flow of money into the Coliseum area and the city at large. Along with that, the Raiders and Trojans could have played in a truly first-rate facility that is really centrally located.
However, thanks to those pompous little tin gods, we will savor nothing of what was originally promised to the Raiders a few years ago. Kudos to the Coliseum Commission, the clowns of the year.
