D-GIRLS

Anna McDonnell’s article on script development girls dispelled some of the mystery as to why my friends and I find almost no reason for adults to go to the movies (“D-Girls, the Women Behind the Scripts,” Aug. 23).

These attractive kiddies are making the original decision as to what story/script is even submitted to their bosses? And I’ll bet the majority of their bosses are in the same juvenile age bracket. They have no history, they have no taste. They cater to their own immature peers.

So where is the next “Chariots of Fire” coming from? England, of course.
