Scottish Television, one of 16 independent TV stations in the United Kingdom, is putting out $2.4 million to set up Holyrood Ltd., a company based in Los Angeles and designed to develop and produce programming for British and American television. Most of the other large ITV stations have already established offices in Los Angeles or New York to try to break into the American syndication market and work on co-production deals, Daily Variety reported. The company will be headed by British producer Jeremy Fox, who also deals with the American market on a regular basis.
