Anaheim : City Treasurer Elected to U.S.-Canadian Post
City Treasurer Mary E. Turner has been elected president of the Municipal Treasurers Assn. of the United States and Canada, authorities said.
Turner, 51, who has served on the board of directors of the 1,500-member organization for the five years, last year was given the association’s Jackson R.E. Phillips Award for leadership and contribution to the management of public funds.
Turner, who has been Anaheim’s city treasurer since 1984, will serve a one-year term as association president.
