Three members of the President’s Commission on AIDS arrived in San Francisco to meet with health officials and visit several locally based AIDS foundations and a nursing program for acquired immunity deficiency syndrome patients. A similar tour was made in New York. The commission, appointed by President Reagan on June 24, is expected to submit a preliminary report to him in two months. San Francisco Health Department officials said no meetings with AIDS patients were scheduled.
