State Builders’ Scholarships Awarded to 67
Sixty-seven scholarships for students attending 33 California colleges and universities have been awarded by the California Building Industry Foundation.
CBIF, the educational and research arm of the California Building Industry Assn., awards scholarships each year to students who plan on a career in the building industry. This year’s scholarships ranged from $250 to $1,000.
The major fund-raiser for the program is the annual CBIF California Hall of Fame Awards dinner, which is held prior to the Pacific Coast Builders Conference in San Francisco. Private contributions provide additional scholarship funds.
