Assemblywoman Tanner and No-Smoking Rules

Isn’t it amazing?
The state Assembly can pass a bill for increased salaries with alacrity, but can just “beat the clock” with a bid for the “economic bonanza of the world’s largest atom smasher” (Part I, Sept. 3)--the Super Collider.
They can legislate against public smoking but display their “public consciousness by refusing to include themselves in said public! (I’m with Tanner.)
