SDSU Loses Title Match in Volleyball to Oregon

Teri Kramer had 29 kills to lead Oregon to a five-game women’s volleyball victory over San Diego State in the championship match of SDSU Collegiate Classic Friday night at Peterson Gym.

Oregon (3-3) won the first game, 15-6, lost the next two, 13-15, 13-15, and then won the final two games, 15-7, 15-4.

Kramer, the tournament most valuable player, and Michele Krebsback (22 kills) took charge in the final two games.

Jackie Mendez had 22 kills for SDSU (1-2) and Kris Morton had 19.

In the consolation match, Texas Tech defeated New Mexico, 10-15, 15-13, 15-7, 15-12.
