The manufacturer of a new flea and tick repellent for cats and dogs linked with more than two dozen pet deaths has agreed to add warnings to the label while it conducts new toxicity tests, the Environmental Protection Agency said. The new label for Hartz Blockade, an aerosol spray made by Hartz Mountain Industries Inc., will warn pet owners not to use it on pregnant cats or cats less than a year old, on puppies younger than three months, or on old, sick or debilitated animals.
