Culver City : Anniversary at Rush Center
The Benjamin Rush Center will celebrate its 25th anniversary at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Center, 4760 S. Sepulveda Blvd.
Tribute will be paid to the late Gerald F. Jacobson, founder of Benjamin Rush Clinic and executive director of the Didi Hirsch center for 28 years.
The Benjamin Rush Center opened in 1962 on Robertson Boulevard. Today, the walk-in crisis intervention clinic operates in Culver City and Venice and serves 100 to 150 new clients a week, officials said.
