Applause, applause, applause for David Green’s satirical poke-in-the-Robert-Hilburn-eye (Calendar Letters, Sept. 6).

After reading Hilburn’s review of the CD release of the Beatles “Sgt. Pepper” LP, it would not surprise me at all that someone so obviously focused on his own self-importance might also have the moronic gall to feel qualified to second-guess a Titan like Beethoven.
