A memorial fund for Chris Zinni of...

A memorial fund for Chris Zinni of Granada Hills has been established by his family and friends. The 19-year-old student died in a boating accident earlier this summer. He was a graduate of Alemany High School last year and a member of its football and golf teams. He was also associated with the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce. The trust fund will benefit needy students and school programs. Donations should be mailed to Alemany High School, Chris Zinni Memorial Fund, 15241 Rinaldi St., Mission Hills 91345.

The Rev. David G. Aubrey of Thousand Oaks has been appointed director of capital programs for California Lutheran University. Aubrey has been a member of the national staff of the American Lutheran Church since 1985, serving as its regional director of gifts for mission programs. Before 1985, he was senior pastor at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Santa Barbara. Aubrey received his master’s in divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in 1971. He received a doctorate from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley.
