Financially troubled Nelson Bunker Hunt announced the sale of his Bluegrass Farm thoroughbred breeding and racing stock at a news conference in Lexington, Ky., where the first phase of dispersal Jan. 9-10 will consist of broodmares, yearlings and 2-year-olds, to be followed at a later date by sale of the racing stable.
