It was the second consecutive game and the third time during the exhibition season that Winnipeg has failed to score a goal.

The Kings, who return to Los Angeles today, will play two exhibition games at the Forum, Tuesday night against the Vancouver Canucks and Wednesday night against the Jets. They’ll wind up their exhibition season next Saturday night against the U.S. Olympic Team at the San Diego Arena.

The Kings will play host to the New York Islanders Oct. 8 in the season opener.
