This summer’s “Jaws (IV) the Revenge” sunk like a stone at the box office, but that hasn’t cured Hollywood’s chronic case of sequelmania. United International Pictures, foreign distributor for Paramount, Universal and MGM/UA, this week gave reporters at Tokyo’s International Film Festival a list of the three studios’ coming releases. Among them: “Conan Part 3,” “Top Gun 2,” “Indiana Jones 3,” “Back to the Future 2,” “Rocky 5” and James Bond No. 16. That’s a total of 31 films on the same five subjects; 35 on six subjects, if you count “Jaws.” But No. 5 wasn’t on the list.
