An interdenominational group, Christian Leaders for Responsible Television, has ended its boycott against Mazda Motors, saying the company has agreed to reduce sex, violence and profanity sponsored on network TV.

“We are pleased to announce that Mazda has made a commitment to improve their sponsorship practices,” said the Rev. Billy Melvin, chairman of the coalition of 1,600 Protestant, Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox leaders.
