Abstract painter Stephanie Weber, whose collage-assemblage works make use of such high-tech material as “photo copy,” Mylar and “rhoplex,” is the featured presenter Monday at the Rancho Santiago College Art Forum, room C-104 on the school’s Santa Ana campus, 17th and Bristol streets.

Weber, a graduate of the UCLA fine arts school, has done graduate work at the University of Illinois and had her residency earlier this year at the American Academy in Rome and the Nysian Program for the Arts in Israel.

Weber’s work has been exhibited at the San Francisco Fine Arts Museum, the Peter Frank “Abstract Painting” exhibit at the Louis Meisel Gallery, the Ivory-Kimbo Gallery in San Francisco, the Stella Polarish Gallery in Los Angeles and the “Contemporary Themes” show at the New York Jewish Museum.
