College Cancels Classes in Meningitis Outbreak

MILTON, Mass. —
Curry College officials canceled classes for the remainder of the week today in an attempt to halt a 3-week-old outbreak of viral meningitis that has stricken at least 36 students over the last three weeks, officials said.
Six students required brief hospitalization, officials said. The college has an enrollment of 1,300.
