Jet Detours to Take Royal Couple Home

LONDON — A jetliner flying from the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius to Paris made a 2 1/2-hour detour today to bring Prince Andrew and his wife, Sarah, home from vacation.

The Air Mauritius Boeing 747 was supposed to fly from Mauritius to Munich and then on to Paris, but made an unscheduled stop at Heathrow Airport in London to drop off the Duke and Duchess of York.
