EARTHQUAKE DAMAGE
I don’t watch TV news, as it is usually more a source of disinformation.
But after the quake, I was lucky enough to tune in the Channel 4’s “Komedy Kuake Kapers.”
Shocknek and Nance got me chuckling with the “this is the big one” line. Then, the epicenter was “offshore on the San Andreas fault.”
When they dived under their desks and broadcast from there, I was howling! Kudos to the quick thinking writers for handling a potentially disastrous event with tongue-in-cheek humor.
I now consider TV news to be comedy relief!
